Welcome to the new SEND Surrey Local Offer portal – the online hub for 0-25 year olds with special educational needs or disabilities and their families.
We have developed this new portal because you told us that the website we introduced in September 2014 did not work as well as it should for you. It has been coproduced with families, young people and other stakeholders.
This new portal introduces a number of new features to help you find out more about the SEND system in Surrey and the services available to you. The portal is still undergoing development and we will introduce more features soon. We need your help to design those features and the information contained in the portal, so that it truly meets your needs. You can tell us what you think using the feedback form on the portal.
We have been keen to introduce a much improved Local Offer as soon as possible so we ask you to bear with us if you experience any temporary difficulties using the site while we continue its development.

About the Local Offer
The Local Offer is a range of services and provisions available to children and young people up to age 25 with SEND. All local authorities are required to publish their Local Offer so that young people and their families can engage with services that benefit them.
Our Local Offer includes provisions from birth right through to 25 years old and covers education, health and social care. It has been developed with children and young people, parents and carers, and local services including schools, colleges, health and social care agencies.
Our aim is to keep the Local Offer as useful, relevant and up to date as possible. But this can only be done with your help. So if you are an organisation, professional, parent, carer, or young person we would like to hear from you. It may be that you have feedback about the site or that you’ve spotted some details or information that is incorrect. All you have to do is click Feedback.
